Kendra founded Spinnaker Architect upon her return from three months of grant funded architectural research in the summer of 2002.

Kendra enjoys working with clients who have a passion for the space they occupy. Many of Kendra's residential clients want to build 'Not So Big' and she highly recommends prospective clients to read one of Sarah Susanka's Not So Big House books. Kendra has carved out a niche for herself in designing renovations and additions to old Portland-area houses (1900 - 1940) and new vacation homes.

Qualifications
Kendra earned her architecture degree (B.Arch) from the University of Oregon in 1998; her Washington State Architect's License, NCARB certification, and her Oregon State Architect's License in 2003. She has been designing spaces for over ten years.

Kendra lived in Europe from April to July of 2002, and has presented her research findings to academic institutions, private businesses, community groups, and public institutions.
