Spinnaker Architect is a full-service architecture firm, serving residential and small commercial clients in the Portland, Oregon area.
Founder Kendra Lwebuga is a nationally-certified (NCARB) architect, with licenses in Washington and Oregon. She has ten years of design experience, with a project portfolio ranging from small residential renovations to a $10 million remodel to the Museum of Art at the University of Oregon (Eugene).
Spinnaker Architect most enjoys working with clients who own and occupy their properties. As opposed to developer-driven projects, we have found a high degree of personal satisfaction from working with clients who are committed to creating a healthy and beautiful environment for themselves.
The name, Spinnaker Architect, is derived from Kendra's not-so-extensive experience in sailing. A spinnaker is a large triangular sail set on a long light pole and used when running before the wind. It is a specialized sail - custom designed - just as your new or remodeled home, cabin, vacation home, office space, or church, is a space that is custom designed just for your own personal needs. Come sail with us!
